With all this talk of communist attacks (not to mention other perceived threats) the Britannic Empire has seen fit to set up security patrol zones between our territories to detect and report on potential threats. The aircraft and ships involved in the patrol zones are unarmed however they are equipped with detection devices to pick-up in-coming missiles and potential hostile vessels and aircraft.

The RBN has 6 vessals in Place while the RBAF has 2 Airplanes in place. This operation is taking place under the Willow Convention.

Micras- With Scott Alexander’s Project Quetzal Map, which is an improved version of the MCS Physical Map, which looks a lot better than the old map did, took a giant leap in MCS mapping quality. Previously, MCS maps were al made in paint, using Pastel Colours at best, but the Shirerithian Company, Yvain Imaginings, which make pictures of all sorts of people for 5-25 Erb, has offered to make a new political map for the MCS, which would look like the new Physical Map. The feedback for these new maps has been all positive, which may make the MCS maps superior to all other maps of all of Micronations. Will these maps be better? We need your feedback!

Willow, New Britannia- A treaty has been proposed by the Britannian King Jeremy III, the treaty involves International Affairs in RecWars, and also dealing with neutral and non-beligerent micronations. Specifically the treaty outlines the following goals:
Article One: Neutral ports and waters as bases in times of war

Article Two: Belligerents in neutral waters in times of war

Article Three: Rights of nations to access international waters in times of peace

Various micronational personalities, mainly from Stormark and Babkha, convened in the Senate forums hosted by the Viking Empire of Stormark to discuss the possibility of bringing Hurmu back to life.

The Senate was recalled in late April, but the reasons for the reconvention were not immediately clear. However, it was not hard to figure out that many members of the Senate wanted Hurmu back in action.

A unanimous decision saw the Resurrection of Hurmu Bill pass.

The original Stasis of Hurmu Bill saw the Constitution suspended. It is not clear yet whether the Senate plans to keep with that constitution or draw up a new one, however nominations taking place in the Senate now for the positions of Chairman and Vice-Chairman imply the old Constitution is to remain in force.

The outlook for the newly reawoken Hurmu is not bad; though Hurmu does not have citizens and as such it is unlikely that new citizenship applications could be used as a guage of interest, two people have applied for admission to the Senate, matters upon which the Senate is currently voting.

Jess: Why did you start Kavalos?

Marc:  I considered there to be a cultural gap in Micras nothing with a greek background

Jess:  So, who what was your intention of governing the nation?

Marc: having it as a reflection of real world politics

Jess: What kind of government do you have?

Marc: i would have to say its kind of a democratic/socialist nation at the moment the people’s views are everything to the government

Jess: Has it always been that way?

Marc: it started off as a full democratic nation but times changed and we saw the influence people can have on a developing state and how it can drive the country forward

Jess: Interesting, now what has happened since the founding?

Marc: well as you probably already aware our main focus has been on expanding excessivly [...] but we are striving forward on developing the kavalosian language as well as focussing heavily on trade and economics of the nation

Jess: What other cultural items have you developed on? Such as sports, and what is the Kavalosian Language like?

Marc: unfortunatly you will have to wait to get a glimpse of our language it is still very much under the government at the moment [...] sports is a massive part of the kavalosian cultural system, our football league is know right across micras the most important club being new luanda fc this year premier league champions and super league champions they have also been made favourite to win this years AEFA Champions league but not only football is a major part of kavalos tennis is as well.  Andreas Basinas is the current MATP world number 2 making it to this years Micras Open Final only to lose to Lydvelt Hera of Craitland

Jess: So what are your plans for the future?

Marc: we want to focus on getting more people interested in joining kavalos and also developing our cultural and language systems but also we are very interested in putting kavalos on the map for making micronationalists take business and trade more seriously

Atticus was a self-styled demagogue rather new to the Kingdom of Toketi, and a powerful player in the Brotherhood in Arms, a third-generation militant guild.  He only recently founded Montag Industries, basically a puppet corperation for the Brotherhood to manufacture weapons and design more powerful technologies to wipe out their enemies.  “Montag” is a German word that translates as “Monday”, but Atticus more likely used it as a literary reference to Ray Bradbury’s Faherheit 451, and the fire that he planned to use to consume their enemies.  But that wasn’t their most important job.  Atticus himself personally designed what he hoped would become a super-soldier:  a genetic cross-breed between all kinds of beasts with the intellect of a human behind it all.

Results were most important, so Montag Industries rushed.  More quickly than anyone had thought possible, they created their masterpiece, which Atticus dubbed the Montag.  A Montag was fast, powerful, intelligent, and deadly.  The project had been a total success.

There were only two complications.  The scientists and Montag Industries figured that the creatures would hardly be able to reproduce with such cannibalized genes, but something in the combination made things work the opposite - they bred like rats.  Soon there were more than they could keep track of.  The second complication was even worse - the Montags weren’t complacent to take orders.  Atticus had given them too much intelligence - they wanted control.

The Montags staged a quick internal coup, taking control of Montag Industries and killing Atticus in the process.  Then, they began to spread.  They bred so quickly, soon they had infested all of Toketi.

I watched it all in growing horror - I’m a spy, not a soldier, there was nothing I could do.  I only got to Bayen just in time.  He mobilized his generals, and they barely managed to contain the attack inside of Tokian lands.  Slowly, the powerful armies of Toketi began to clean out certain areas.  Furfein Tosha conMakain and Ostshon Kagan were soon declared free of Montags.

But something was wrong.  There weren’t enough Montags left.  According to the data that Atticus left behind, there should have been ten times as many Montags by now than we could actually account for.  We were missing something.

The answer was right under our noses.  The Montags had burrowed underground, hiding and amassing their forces for a final strike.  That strike is now.

Furfein Tosha conMakain is holding up fairly well against the attack, but the other four duchies are reeling.  I’m sending this from Rielrar, the capital.  We’re barely holding them off.  They’ll have breached the last wall soon.  We defeated them last time by tricking them into helicopters and letting the city’s anti-aircraft defenses wipe them out, but they won’t fall for the same trick twice.  Our only hope is the other Tokian generals - if they win victory in their regions, the Montags might surrender before we’re destroyed.c

If they fail, we’re done for.  Toketi will be lost.  I’m sending this now so if all doesn’t go well, at least there will be a record of what happened to the Kingdom before it fell.  This is it:  Toketi is under assault by German Mondays.  And I hate Mondays.

When Natopia reorganized itself in January of this year, South Mehlville was unable to rejoin the Empire due to its constitution allowing only a strict democracy.  To allow the recent re-annexation, an emergency clause was used to elect Tom Mills, the original colonial governor and the founder of independent South Mehlville, as Dictator, who then nullified the constitution and approved the annexation treaty with Natopia, formalizing the protectorate status South Mehlville enjoys as it retains internal autonomy as does its fellow protectorate, the Kingdom of Athlon.

Due to the annexation, one of the non-Natopian citizens of South Mehlville was given Natopian citizenship.  Therefore, the Natopian Empire welcomed Jeremy Belleme who was given the Barony of Cheshunt for his troubles of being automatically naturalized.

1)There will be an assortment of different online games (The chosen site being www.teagames.com). These will be events within the MicrOlympics.

2) Each nation registers one national account. Vanderveer will register a Vanderveer account.

3) The countries take part in each event by playing the game.

4) The scores for every attempt will be on their account site ready for us to check (therefore stopping cheaters). The countries representative submits the top score and posts them on our forums.
